On Monday, November 25, 2024, a significant moment took place at Poltekkes Kemenkes Denpasar. In the Dental Health Department’s meeting room, an international internship program kicked off, featuring students from the Faculty of Medicine, Midwifery, and Health Sciences (FMMS) at the Université Catholique de Lille, France. These students will collaborate in the health sector, enriching their practical experience in Indonesia.
This internship program aims to provide valuable insight into the Indonesian healthcare system. The French students will engage in practices across medicine, midwifery, and public health while gaining a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by healthcare professionals in Indonesia.
Ni Luh Kompyang Sulisna Dewi, S.Kep, Ners, M.Kep, Vice Director I of Poltekkes Kemenkes Denpasar, hopes this program will allow the students to see firsthand how Indonesia’s healthcare system operates and build strong relationships with local students. “This is an excellent learning opportunity for our students, and it will broaden their horizons through international experience,” she said enthusiastically.
